Friday was 'Big Wind Day'. We had so much fun at Oakwood creating ribbon wands to blow in the wind, some children pretended they were magic wands! First of all we had to go around the forest collecting different sized sticks, we then chose the different colour for our ribbon. We worked out that the ribbons blew faster when we climbed up high and ran to get some speed. We talked about different types of speed and introduced language such as "speedy", "rapid" and "swift".
