The Holly Bank Poppies have enjoyed learning how to show care and concern for living things this spring.
We took some magnifying glasses and set out on a Big Bug Hunt. On our bug hunt we found some snails, woodlice, a spider and even some baby lady birds. When we finished our hunt we talked about where the animals live, what they eat and what they might like to do.
All the children came up with the idea of building a spider house for the creatures, using sticks, leaves and mud so that they had somewhere safe to go.
