The Harlequin babies have been exploring new textures this month, from paper to water and sand. They have had fun feeling the paper with their hands and feet, sometimes even climbing in and hiding from their friends. The babies babbled a lot and some saying single words whilst they were deep in play.
Playing with different types of textures, tastes, and objects help the child develop their fine motor skills together with building new ways of talking about the world.
