The children at Holly Bank nursery were delighted when two of their Easter eggs hatched this week! The eggs had been kept warm in an incubator before hatching on Wednesday. The children had chance to observe the baby chicks “pipping” the egg shells to crack out of them.
The children have had chance to hold the baby chicks and we are all surprised as to how loud their chirping can be! The children have enjoyed looking after the chicks by feeding them grain and providing fresh water every day.
