On World Book day we were lucky enough to have an author visit us at Holly Bank!
Claire Culliford has written a number of children’s books with an eco-friendly theme. She read us one of her stories “Hector Helps…Tidy the Park!”. We all enjoyed listening to the story and then talking to Claire about what happened. Claire even taught us a new song! After the story, Claire spent some time doing different activities with us including colouring and practising our writing. Some of us had brought our favourite books in for World Book Day and Claire spent time looking at them all while we told her the stories.
We had such a great morning!
