This term across the rooms at Harlequin, we have enjoyed learning all about ourselves. The children in toddler and pre-school rooms have been making self-portraits, thinking carefully about what we look like and describing our features. We talked about some of the differences within the peer group and how every child is unique.
The babies have enjoyed mirror play talking about the different body parts of the face using the correct naming words for each.
