Spreading Christmas Cheer

A group of children from Harlequin Nursery, Edgerton have been spreading Christmas cheer in their local community with a special trip to Thornhill Care Home today. The children brought some of their nursery made mince pies for the residents to eat and sang them some of their favourite Christmas carols and songs.

Ruth Tattersall explains “The trip was planned not only to give the residents a special treat at Christmas but for the children to understand and learn about the local community around them and the importance of brining happiness to others at this time of the year. We have already arranged to go back in the New Year as the residents and children had such a great time.”
