The Harlequin babies have been exploring making their own cups of tea today! We added tea bags to the water tray along with all the utensils needed and the children really enjoyed learning skills such as scooping, pouring, filling, emptying and mixing to make their own cup of tea. This encouraged the children to role play based on real life experiences sharing their cups of tea.
We then used the tea bags to paint and the children discovered many ways to be creative with them; including swiping them over the paper, dropping them so they went splat and squashing them until all the tea ran out and made a puddly picture.
