The Oakwood House pre-schoolers have been enjoying the warm weather and exploring water play.
The children worked together to build a water trail, taking it in turns to pour the water down. They looked at the water trails left on the ground with one child trying to stop the water trail with a stick and was surprised that the water went around the stick.
We all watched the water trails as the faded as they dried. With the hot weather the water dried quickly which gave us the opportunity to talk about the process of evaporation.
