Nursery Rhymes and Stories

The Oakwood House toddlers and their parents had lots of fun at our Nursery Rhymes and Stories Stay and Play.

We had lots of different activities set out for the children to enjoy with their parents. Some decorated sheep, spiders and fish to action the songs whilst singing the nursery rhymes.

We had farm animals hidden in shaving foam and boats sailing in the water tray to enhance our sensory experiences related to the day’s event.

We finished by inviting everyone for a sing along, singing “Baa Baa Black Sheep” and many other favourite nursery rhymes.

Baa, baa, black sheep,
Have you any wool?
Yes sir, yes sir,
Three bags full.
One for the master,
One for the dame,
And one for the little boy
Who lives down the lane.
