At Oakwood House Nursery & Forest School the children have been learning all about the birds and the bees! The babies found a birds nest in the garden and the pre-school children had great fun exploring it discovering what it was made from. They learnt how the birds make nests and where they might find them. They also made their very own birds to live in the nest. Now the nest is no longer in use we have displayed in the pre-school room so the children can touch it and talk about it.
In the toddler room Sebastian’s Granddad brought in a wasps nest for the children to explore. Erin was so interested in this she decided to dress up as a bee!
