The Bradley House babies have been taking part in lots of spring themed activities such as making and exploring yellow scented play dough.
The children used their fine motor skills to mix prod and pour. Along with using the sense of touch the children explored using their sense of smell. The babies are currently really interested in paint and creative activities. We used some new tools (forks) to create some lovely tulips. The babies made marks manipulating the forks around their paper. The babies also took part in a group sticking activity lots of lovely spring colours were put on the table for them to choose from and create something amazing! This activity helped to encourage fine motor skills as they had to practice different grasps when using the glue spreader and tissue paper. Furthermore this activity encouraged so much speech the babies babbled across the table to each other with the odd single word making an appearance. Such as "Ta" when sharing out the tissue paper.
