Following on from our recent recycling week the children in Bradley House preschool have been interested in learning about different objects and what can be recycled.
The children have been looking at different packages and checking for the right logo on the labels to see if they were able to recycle the material. We spoke with the children about the importance of recycling and the benefits of reusing items were possible and gathered lots of different waste material from around a home to see if the children were able to sort the materials into recyclable and non-recyclable.
The children enjoyed the activity so much that we introduced a recycle bin to our role play area so the children can continue to develop their understanding of recycling through their play. We cannot wait to see what we can do with recycling products next.
