The Oakwood House Toddlers have been making “pumpkin soup” today. The children used spoons to carve out the pumpkin and it’s seeds. We then mixed the pumpkin and seeds up with different herbs, spices, water, flour and corn flour.
The children had lots of fun exploring using different senses, smelling the herbs and spices and feeling the slimy pumpkin.
Fine motor skills were used stirring with spoons and opening up the spices!
