Local radio station Pennine FM spent the morning in the nursery garden with the children at the beginning of July. The children were interviewed alongside Deputy Manager Lynn Grant about their vegetable garden and it was featured in their 12 o’clock news bulletin on the same day! The children told the reporter how much they enjoy planting vegetables and watering them and described their favorites. Lynn explained how important the process of growing vegetables with children is in their educational and social development.
