The Fairfield toddlers have been exploring in the garden and have shown a keen interest in playing group games with their friends, we are getting to know each other and what we are called, we have been focusing on turn taking and using words to express our feelings and emotions.
Outside in the garden we have worked together to make the parachute go up and down in time to music. We have played games to call out our friends names and swap places with them around the parachute, we have also been using lots of positional language when describing where items where on the parachute e.g. “on top” “underneath” .The toddlers are growing in confidence when talking to and sharing resources with their peers.
