Holly Bank Bluebells have been very interested in mark making outside this month. The children have led a number of activities by finding or requesting resources that they have used to explore the different marks and effects they could make.
Some of the items the children chose were twigs dipped in mud and used on paper, chalks on the ground and on upright surfaces like the walls and paintbrushes dipped in water.
Some of the outcomes were pictures that the children proudly took home, and others were less permanent, but still impressive. The children have really let their imaginations shine through, especially whilst painting with water, as they pretended that they had lots of different colours and described how they were using them.
