Oakwood House is the perfect environment to celebrate 'International Day of Mud' and the toddlers have been exploring it in lots of different ways. We have been cooking mud pies and cakes in the mud kitchen using our imagination to stir and bake. We found large twigs and branches to mix our muddy ingredients together creating the perfect recipe.
We also explored mud by jumping in large puddles, stomping through the jungle and squelching it with our wellies. It is also the perfect place to find insects, this morning we found lots of wiggly worms and ladybirds. We treated them with care saying hello then placing them back where we found them in the cool mud.
