The Holly Bank babies have been exploring two main shapes this week, the moon and the stars as these are the shapes on the Islamic flag. They enjoyed exploring our light up stars in the sensory tray and we used different round objects that we pretended were the moon. We sang “twinkle twinkle little star” and did the actions with our hands.
We used the star shaped playdough cutters to create our own art work by dipping them into different coloured paints and pushing them onto paper. This was great for developing our hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
