We had so much fun last week celebrating Diwali. All the Harlequin children celebrated in different ways.
Our babies explored lights and had torches and a disco light and they explored the colours and shapes. In the toddler room we made firework pictures using lots of different media. In preschool we read the story of Rama and Sita and how Sita had to be rescued after she was kidnapped and how after Rama saved her it was lamps at the side of the road that saved them. The children then made their very own lamps out of clay.
