During October the Daisies at Harlequin have been exploring all things Autumn. We have done this in a manner of different ways. Using sensory trays with other resources such as leaves and conkers, feeling the textures of the pumpkin on both the inside and outside and playing out in all types of weather.
It really has been raining leaves.
The Daisy children have played alongside each other tapping, rolling and kicking the pumpkin saying key words like ‘Ball’ ‘Push’ ‘orange’. We finally carved the pumpkin, exploring the texture of the flesh and seeds before roasting them to eat in our soup. Yum – Delicious
