Holly Bank Children's Council this month focused on the garden and the vegetation in it. Firstly, the children went into the mud kitchen to see how many different plant species they could recognise, how the plants were growing and if we needed to do any weeding. They recognised the buttercups and the foxgloves.
Next they went to the driveway to check on the plants and brambles growing there. The children made sure we were all very careful not to touch the spikes and kept our fingers safe. Next month's meeting we will be looking at energy and how much we are using.
