Following on from World Bee Day - Harlequin’s school council have been reflecting on how to save the bee’s. After a discussion it was decided that we should plant some wild flowers to attract them and to provide pollen for them to collect.
As a group, the children decided the best place to scatter some wild flower seeds on a no mow patch close to the Community Library. The council is led, modelled and directed by the children themselves; developing leadership skills and a sense of community and promoting our British Values within the setting.
