During the month of September the Portland House Buttercup team have had lots of new babies joining them.
They have been concentrating on developing their children’s personal, social and emotional skills. The new children have spent lots of one to one time with their key person in order to create secure attachments and ensure their transition into nursery was as smooth and happy as possible.
Some of the one to one time has been spent looking at books together, singing finger rhymes and having lots of delightful cuddles.
We are very much looking forward to our new parents joining us for our upcoming Stay and Play events, which are a wonderful opportunity to meet the other parents and the team members and get ideas for activities to do at home with their child.
