This week the Holly Bank babies have focused on Bonfire night and Diwali, they created their own firework pictures using paint and chunky painting tools which helped the babies develop their fine motor skills and hand eye coordination. As they dabbed the paint on to the paper we made the sounds of different fireworks … "bang" "boom" "crackle" and "whoosh".
They enjoyed exploring our Diwali light tray where they were able to grab the star lights and shine them in reflective objects such as the mirrors and mirrored pebbles and see them twinkle, we all sang "twinkle, twinkle little star" and listened to some authentic Diwali music.
