The babies had a fabulous baking session making presents for mother’s day.
They decided to make some butterfly biscuits. They weighed out the ingredients and enjoyed the smell of the orange zest. They loved getting messy mixing it all together; this was a very popular sensory activity. Next they used a rolling pin to roll out the dough and used butterfly cutters to cut out the shape. They then passed the biscuits to Oakwood’s Chef Ross to bake in his kitchen.
When they were ready they wrapped them up and gave them as presents to their mummies.
