The Forget Me Not Children's Hospice

The Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice exists to give vital support to children with a life limiting or life threatening condition, and their families across Kirklees, Calderdale and Wakefield .There are more than 400 children and families in our area who need the help the hospice offers.  Over 20 children and their families are currently being supported through our Hospice at Home service. Each week this number increases

The Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice is currently being built by local building contractors, Marshalls, in Brackenhall, near Huddersfield. The hospice is due to be completed by the end of 2011. It will cost £2.5m to build and equip. The charity must raise over £2.5m per year to ensure we are able to help the children who come to us for support. Only 4% of funding needed to run a children’s hospice service is delivered by the Government.
