In Harlequin Daisies the babies have been enjoying exploration play in shredded paper, they have been using their fine motor skills to see what they could find hidden in the paper.
They are getting very good at grasping objects using hand-eye co-ordination and really enjoying the feel of all the paper. For the older children we introduced descriptive words, encouraging them to begin to describe the objects and introducing colours and shapes to their play.
Lots of fun was also had hiding themselves in the paper!
