The Portland House children from Bluebells and Sunflowers had an exciting afternoon of fun and music extravaganza in the nursery garden as the children celebrated leaving for their new adventure to school in September.
Mums and dads and family members joined in the fun with the children singing and dancing to the tunes with Alison from Melody Makers in the lovely sunshine.
Afterwards we had a delicious picnic tea prepared by Julie the nursery cook. Friends and family clapped and cheered loudly as the children were presented with their leaver’s graduation certificates by Julie the manager. They then had a lovely group photo together with the staff team.
The preschool staff teams will certainly miss the children as they fly the Portland nest to start their next exciting chapter of education at school. We are all so very proud of our Bluebell and Sunflower graduates of 2016, we wish them well and hope they will come back and visit us very soon.
