We take responsibility for the effects of our nurseries on the environment by reducing our waste, conserving energy and encouraging children to understand environmental issues.
Each nursery has been awarded the Early Years Eco School Silver Award. This award guides nursery settings through all aspects of sustainability, and helps them not only to embed ecological principles into everyday nursery life, but to take these ideas home with them too.
Children, staff and parents have all worked together to achieve this award. The children have been learning about waste, composting, energy and water saving and have been putting it into practice at nursery.
